 Summer Tennis Camps 2022

This camp is for UTR/USTA tournament players and JV/Varsity school team members wanting to improve. You must meet these requirement to sign up. This is a competitive camp! We focus on developing technical skills, mental toughness and improving fitness for competition. Space is limited! Click here for more camp information.

All players will be split into groups based on their skill level. Our coach/player ratio will average  1:5. Players will have the opportunity to move up throughout the camp. Coaches will attend tournaments throughout the summer to provide feedback and correct behavior. We will recommend tournaments based on level of play. 

Included in the camp cost, we will have UTR Tournaments weekly on Fridays between 8:00am-3:00pm. We will also allow UTR tournament matches to be played during the week and Saturdays at times TBD. All matches will be recorded as a tournament for official UTR ranking points.

We will average 2 tournament matches per player/per week throughout the summer sometimes more (If you sign up for a minimum of two weekly camps you are allowed to play all UTR tournaments for the entire month!).

You will need to sign up weekly on our UTR official tournament website to get your ranking points. UTR will charge you $10 if you do not have a subscription. With a subscription our tournaments are free of charge for our camp participants. 

 

Camp Cost:

Weekly  $240

Monthly $840

1 day a week/month $240

2 days a week/month $480

3 days a week/month $720

Includes UTR match play every Friday. Matches count towards ranking when registered online.

Rain make ups are allowed throughout the summer with 3 days notice. No make ups for missed days without prior permission. Please email requests to: springtennisacademy@gmail.com. No Refunds will be issued.

Northampton Beginner Camp
(Ages 8-13 years)
 
CAMP INFO: 
Northampton Summer tennis camps are for beginner and intermediate players ages 8-13yr. This is a special time for kids at Northampton learning tennis, swimming daily and involved in fun activities. Camp runs June 8th through August 20th, Monday-Thursday. Campers bring their own lunch. We have shade and indoor air-conditioned room for resting.  8:30am drop-off for working parents. Sign up now space is limited.

Spring Creek Forest Camp
(Beginner & Intermediate 6-13 years)

Spring Creek Summer Tennis Camps!

Each camp will be held Mon-Thur from 8:30-11:30am.  We  provide loaner rackets upon request. Beginner & intermediate players ages 6-13 years of age.

Ken Olivier Honored at UT Tyler National Championship Reunion

The University of Texas at Tyler recently held a National Championship reunion to honor Hall of Fame Coach Fred Kniffen and past players.

Ken Olivier is the only player in UT Tyler history to win individual national titles in singles and doubles. Ken finished ranked #1 in the nation in singles, doubles, and team. He was also ranked #1 in the nation in NCAA II. He received a Masters degree in Kinesiology.

Emily Olivier Graduates with Honors

Emily Olivier led her team to first ever Mountain West Conference Championship. She received several Mountain West honors for academics and athletic excellence.

Her highest ITA national ranking was #75 in singles. She qualified to play in the prestigious ITA All-American NCAA D1 tournament in CA.
